Bakery Operative

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven capability as a time served baker as will as the successful delivery of production controls. A hands on flexible approach us essential sue to the high volume in a compact environment, flexibility in days worked is essential as it will include shifts and or weekend work. Previous experience as a dessert baker would be an advantage, including holding a  food safety qualification.

Duties include:

  • Resposnsibile for preparing a wide range of cake, bakes, mixes including sauces, buttercreams and other products
  • Icing and finishing all products to a very high standard
  • Maintaining our high housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Other duties would include supporting bakery porter roles, packing of finished products ready for distribuition
