This site in the centre of Durham City has a fascinating past … from palace to workhouse … and finally Market Hall. The tours will bring 100s of years of history to life.
Hear not only about the past, but also experience the present of Durham City's longest continually trading private business, established in 1851 by its very own Act of Parliament.
The Market Hall in Durham is a central and easily-accessed site.
