Family Christmas Castle Tours, starting at 1.15pm, 2.15pm and 3.15pm
Get in the Christmas spirit with a unique and festive family tour of Durham Castle on Saturday 8th December 2018.
Bring your family to Durham Castle and celebrate all things festive with Castle Community Action (CCA) and Durham Castle Museum. With family fun guided tours, Christmas decoration making, and gingerbread house decorating this is a fab festive treat for children and parents alike. This event is completely free, with festive fancy dress encouraged!
The tour ends with craft activities based around all things Christmas. Tours take place 1.15pm, 2.15pm and 3.15pm and need to be booked in advance. Please choose your slot when booking tickets.
Places are limited and need to be booked in advance. Tickets are required for both adults and children (including infants). Please make sure all adults and children in your group are booked on the same tour. The historic nature and layout of the Castle means that the majority of the building is inaccessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs. The tour route involves some steps and staircases, some of which are uneven. Tours and activities will last approximately 1 ½ hours.
Please meet at Palace Green Library 10 minutes before the start of the tour, and collect your ticket from the reception desk. There is no parking on the site.
